Hans Christian Tungesvik
Triathlon
Norwegian triathlete Hans Christian Tungesvik's triathlon career started in 2013, when he participated in a club sprint-distance championship at 21 years old. Although his strongest memory of that first race was trying not to drown in the cold autumn water, he was immediately hooked on the sport. From there he built up to Olympic, half Ironman and finally full Ironman distance. Winner of the 2019 XTRI World Championship, Hans Christian has set his sights on qualifying for Kona in 2021, which would make him the first Norwegian pro triathlete to do so.
