Maloja Pushbikers

Road

Maloja Pushbikers is a German UCI Continental Road team. Founded in 2014 by former pro cyclist Christian Grasmann, the team also competes on the track, and has an affiliated junior team on road, MTB and track. Known for outreach and community engagement as much as racing, the Pushbikers consider themselves to be more than just a professional cycling team. Supporting younger cyclists, creating a community of like-minded cycling enthusiasts, and doing things a little differently than your average pro team is part of who they are. The Pushbikers Shop is both a retail and repair store and a community hub located on a farm estate near Lake Tegernsee, functioning as a reminder of the colourful and unique approach that drives the team.

2023 highlights for the Pushbikers include ending the season as the second-highest ranked German UCI pro team behind Bora-Hansgrohe. Sprinter and captain Filippo Fortin led the team to many of those points, collecting six wins, thirteen podiums, and 28 top 10 results over the course of the season. Dutch Pushbiker Roy Eefting won the silver medal in the Scratch race at 2023 UCI European Track Championships as well as finishing 4th at the World Championships.
