Linus Østdal

Road

Linus is a 20-year-old cyclist from north of Copenhagen, Denmark, balancing life between racing, family, and everyday work as a substitute teacher and café barista at Cranks and Coffee. Curious and committed, he represents the next generation of riders building their careers through passion, discipline, and a love for competition.

Growing up in a highly active family, Linus was exposed to sport from an early age. Inspired by his father’s lifelong connection to cycling and guided by his brother, a former elite runner, he found his way into structured training and racing. What began as curiosity quickly became a passion for competition and performance.

One of Linus’ proudest achievements to date is joining PAS Racing and Team Cranks — racing as part of a team for the first time and sharing the same jersey and equipment with his teammates. He has since added major results to his young career, including winning the U23 Danish National Gravel Championship and securing top-five finishes at UCI Gravel Grit n’ Grind and the Frederiksberg Criterium.

What drives Linus most is the feeling of racing in the peloton and at the front of the pack, combined with the process of preparing for competition. Whether in training or on race day, his motivation comes from simply loving to ride his bike and push his limits.

Looking ahead to the 2026 season, Linus’ main goal is to deliver a strong performance at Traka 200. Alongside a full race calendar with PAS Racing and Team Cranks, he aims to continue building experience, confidence, and results throughout the year.

Driven by enthusiasm, growth, and a genuine love of the sport, Linus reflects the spirit of Argon 18 — an athlete developing through dedication, teamwork, and the pursuit of performance on every terrain.
