A Big Week for Track! Argon 18 at The Oceania and European Track Championships

October was ‘on track’ with both the Oceania Track Championships (Oct. 16-19) and European Track Championships (Oct. 16-20) featuring fierce racing and strong performances by Argon 18’s family of athletes.

At Oceania, Australia’s national team rode the Electron Pro to five golds, one silver and a bronze, with Maeve Plouffe picking up both a silver and bronze, and Amy Cure coming away with two gold medals, one with Madison teammate Alexandra Manly. Stephanie Morton and Kaarle McCulloch took the gold in the Team Sprint, their first race wearing the rainbow jerseys they earned at the 2019 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Pruszków, Poland. Those jerseys inspired more than just a gold medal ride - Morton and McCulloch also set a new Oceania record.

At the European Championships, the Danish team rode to victory in the men’s Team Pursuit and Madison, and women’s Madison. Lasse Norman Hansen took gold as part of the Pursuit and Madison teams, as well as an individual silver in the Omnium.

As always, Argon 18 is honoured to be the choice of top athletes on the track. We’ll continue following our athletes as they move forward to the 2020 Games!
