Description

Before this running change:

A guide pipe was used to help routing the brake hases in the fork, it was placed between the entry hole at the base of the steerer and the exit hale on the left fork leg in this design.

After this running change:

The guide pipe is now removed to enable two (2) options of front brake hase routing:

  1. Through the entry hole at the base of the steerer
  2. Through the top of the steerer tube*

*This was not possible before this running change

Assembly possibilities

There are two ways of routing cables and hoses with the FSA ACR system. In both options, shifting cables and rear brake hose are routed through the top cover front hole.

Note that this changes does not affect assembly with the Token S-Box headset for which the front brake hose is routed through the entry hole.

The difference comes from the front brake hose is routed:

Option 1:

The front brake hose is routed through the entry hole and the hole on the top cap. This solution works with forks whether they have a cable guide or not.

Option 2:

The front brake hose is routed through the steerer tube. This solution works only with forks produced after this running change.
