Scott Steenberg

Triathlon

Scott Steenberg is a Danish triathlete based near Copenhagen. He is part of the Danish National Team in long-distance triathlon and does his regular training with KTK86 Triathlon Club. He took up the sport at age 10, and first started competing in short-course triathlon, focusing on the swim. He has been part of numerous Youth, Junior and Senior European Championships and European Cups. His efforts earned him a spot on the Danish National Team. With the Olympic team, he took part in the World Triathlon Championship series Hamburg in mixed relay with the goal of qualifying the team for the 2024 Olympic games.

Scott switched to long-distance triathlon in 2022, and found early success at IM 70.3 in Aix-en-Provence in France, placing 2nd in his only second 70.3 race ever and qualifying for the World Championships in St George, Utah. At St. George he came 13th, an impressive finish for one of the youngest pro athletes to qualify for the Championships.
