THE ROLE

We are currently searching for a Warehouse Clerk to join our European production team based in Lynge, Denmark. Reporting to the Production and Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for picking parts needed for assembly, for packaging of complete bikes and for assisting the Production team with various tasks in the warehouse. The incumbent will also work in close collaboration with the Global Quality Director to perform inspections on incoming frames and accessories, and on outbound production.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick parts required for assembly of bicycles.
  • Package bikes according to company standards.
  • Assist the warehouse clerks with the receiving of merchandise.
  • Conduct thorough product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety requirements.
  • Identify and report non-compliance and issues.
  • Maintain databases of inspection reports and non-compliance.
  • Participate in keeping the warehouse and assembly workspace clean and orderly.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to follow quality control procedures using applicable tools and gauges.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform work standing for long periods of time.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, team oriented and collaborative.
  • Ability to lift large boxes of up to 20 kg.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Experience as a quality control inspector or as a mechanic in the bicycle industry, an asset.

  • 2nd round interviews: Selected candidates will move on to a virtual interview with the hiring manager and the Dir. Talent & Culture. *Possibility to do the interview from the Lynge office.
