THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an autonomous and resourceful candidate to join our North American Production team as an Operations Technician, based at our Montreal headquarters. The candidate will report to the Production and Warehouse Supervisor and will oversee daily bicycle production and order invoicing prior to shipment to our retail partners. In addition, the Operations Technician will assist the team with various tasks within the warehouse, thereby contributing to the smooth operation and efficiency of production.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validate and oversee daily production.
- Collaborate with staff from other departments to resolve production-related issues.
- Process order invoicing in the ERP system.
- Optimize inventory placement in the warehouse.
- Put away inventory upon receipt.
- Serve as a backup for inventory reception and verification.
- Participate in keeping the warehouse and assembly workspace clean and orderly.
- Participate in quarterly inventory count.
- Respect the health and safety guidelines and contribute to prevention.
- Perform other warehouse related tasks per Supervisor’s request.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Post secondary education in Administration (Technical DEC) or similar field.
- 2 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central (formerly NAV) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Outlook, Teams, and Excel).
- Bilingualism: Fluency in both French and English, both spoken and written, is required to communicate with international colleagues, partners, and retailers across North America.
