WHO ARE WE?
Argon 18’s mission is to merge creativity and technology to build a global cycling brand driven by performance, fueled by local passion. Since 1989, and more recently with the opening of a European office in Denmark, the Montreal-based company has been bringing together cycling enthusiasts to create exceptional bikes designed to ride out of the ordinary. Today, Argon 18 bikes are ridden on the roads, tracks and trails of more than 70 countries worldwide.
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to lead our global operations team from our Danish HQ in Lynge. Reporting to the CEO, and as the Head of Operations, you will lead the strategic and day-to-day operations across Argon 18’s global supply chain, including procurement, supplier management, logistics, and in-house assembly in Denmark and Canada. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and product quality in a fast-paced, innovation-driven cycling industry.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-End Operations Leadership: Oversee global operations strategy, ensuring seamless coordination between purchasing, supplier management, logistics, and assembly, resulting in on-time delivery to the agreed business.
 - Supplier & Vendor Management: Optimize sourcing. Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers ensuring long term and mutually beneficial partnerships.
 - Assembly Oversight: Lead and optimize in-house assembly operations in Lynge and Montreal, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
 - Process Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
 - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development, Sales, and Finance to align operations with product launches and market demand.
 - Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all operations meet environmental, regulatory, and ethical standards across regions.
 - Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing, cross-continental operations team (Denmark, Canada and Asia) with a culture of accountability and innovation.
 - Technology & Systems: Drive digital transformation through ERP systems and data-driven decision-making.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations combined with 5+ years of experience in global operations, supply chain, or manufacturing leadership roles—ideally in the cycling industry with high-end or performance brands.
 - Proven track record of delivering in full on time to the agreed business.
 - Strong understanding of bicycle components, assembly processes, and industry-specific supply chain dynamics.
 - Experience managing multi-site operations across international locations, experience in Asia is an asset.
 - Proficiency with ERP systems and operational analytics, knowledge of Business Central is an asset.
 - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
 - Willingness to travel between Denmark, Canada and Asia.
 - Fluency in English; Danish or French is an asset.
