THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a candidate to temporarily join our Montreal based Production team as a Warehouse clerk. Reporting to the Production Coordinator, the Warehouse clerk's first responsibility will be to pick the parts required for the bikes to be assembled according to the daily production goals. He/she will also assist the production team with warehousing of boxes following the reception of goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick parts required for bicycle assembly according to the production orders.
• Check and restock pick boxes.
• Ensure inventory accuracy in the ERP by transferring quantities from one location to another using the scanner.
• Assist the Shipping and receiving clerk when receiving merchandise according to established procedures.
• Participate in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Manage the recycling of cardboard boxes.
• Perform all other related tasks.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE
 

• 1 year experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
• Good comprehension of written and spoken French and English.
• Ability to use a scanner and computer to perform simple tasks.
• Team player and collaborative.
• Attention to detail.
• Good physical ability: Ability to work standing for long periods and lift loads of 30 lbs.
