Equipe Roubaix Lille Métropole

Road

Founded in 2007 by Cyrille Guimard, the professional cycling team Equipe Roubaix Lille Métropole, is in its 16th season in the pro peloton. The UCI Continental category team (3rd World Division) is one of the oldest French professional training teams. With its racing home base traditionally in France and Belgium, the team’s schedule expanded in 2020 with an early-season victory at the Tropical Amissa Bongo, won by Jordan Levasseur.

The team also has its roots in the famous "La Redoute" team of the 70s and 80s, which was also created within the Vélo Club de Roubaix. This legacy inspires all members of the team, as well as the club as a whole. This includes many young up-and-coming riders: development and mentorship have been at the core of the Vélo Club of Roubaix Lille Métropole since its creation more than half a century ago.
